For confidential communication with the Kreissparkasse you should encrypt your e-mails. The Kreissparkasse Stade uses the encryption method of OpenPGP for e-mail encryption (More information on Wikipedia).
This method is widely acknowledged to increase the confidentiality of the information in the message exchange and, among other things, to counteract the sending with a wrong name or manipulation of the contents.
All online banking customers can send us an encrypted message, including attachments, via your electronic mailbox. Please log in to online banking and go to the area Mailbox / Send Messages.
The encryption method OpenPGP can be used, for example, with the Gpg4win (Gnu Privacy Guard for Windows) software on your PC. In order to send encrypted messages to the Kreissparkasse Stade, you need the public key of the Kreissparkasse Stade as well as the program.
If you want, each mail message can be encrypted by the savings bank to the destination address you are using. The prerequisite is that you provide your public key to Kreissparkasse Stade. A right to encryption can not be derived from this.
